The Distress of Sleepless Hours

It's in these moments of isolation that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the powerful spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

A Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia acts as a crushing weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, yearning for sleep that just seems out of reach. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity filled with anxieties and frustration. This constant state of wakefulness becomes a prisoner of your own mind.

Yearning for Sweet Oblivion

The throes of oblivion was a siren's call, a searing promise of escape. To fade in its embrace was to quell the incessant chant of existence. The world's sharp edges blurred under the spell of its sweetness.

To truly long oblivion was to plead for a passing respite from the weight of being.
